The following are ongoing research/scholarly activities by members of the centre.

  • Developing of  a Privacy by Design Framework for the Effective Adoption of mHealth for monitoring chronic diseases. PhD research by , F. Jusob,  supervised by Dr. C. George and Dr. G. Mapp at Middlesex University.
  • Developing of a novel Information Security Framework for for mHealth. PhD research by N. Vithanwattana, supervised by Dr C. George and Dr. G. Mapp at Middlesex University.
  • Developing and implementing the Cloud Framework for ADIMEP (Advanced Digital Medical Platform) and using fine-grain control to allow virtual datasets to be built to allow medical researchers to access data. PhD research by  A. Rajan supervised by  Dr. G. Mapp and Dr. C. George at Middlesex University.
  • Investigating the attainment of optimum data quality in big data health datasets. PhD research by S. Juddoo, supervised by Dr C. George, Dr. P. Duquenoy  and Dr D.Windridge at Middlesex University.
  • PROGRESSIVE project – researching standards and standardisation around ICT for active and healthy ageing. Ms Diane Whitehouse working with the European Health Telematics Association (EHTEL).
